Hi guys! I was asked by Bender if I could set up a server for the Lowlands Tigermeet 7-10 April. It will basically be the Intermediate server, but then with a different mission rotation and a different name (but with 'Syndicate' in it of course) for the three days of the event. It will really help to get some more guys interested in RoF, which is always a good thing! So, anyone object to "lending" our intermediate server for three days?

Salute, Syndicate!
The LLTM is a big flightsim LAN event held near the Dutch border each year. This is the first year that ROF will be making its appearance and Bender and me have stepped up to set it all up. It will run from april 7th to april 10th.
Of course we want ROF to make as good impression as possible and for that we also want to offer the people there the best that Rise of Flight multiplayer has to offer.
Our thoughts immediately turned to the vintage mission "trademark", and your new intermediate server which would be perfect for newcomers. Combined with a good showup from the community itself to populate the server for example on saturday night, it will make a perfect announced event.
Jason will provide us with some temporary ROF accounts to allow anyone interested to try it out so hopefully there will be some interest. Of course, there is no telling yet.
It would be my great pleasure to work together with you on this.
I don't know yet what planes will be active on these mock accounts so missions with as many ICE planes as possible in them are preferred.
One thing I forgot to consider: the event being in Germany, I hope latency won't be a problem. If you foresee high pings pooping the party, do give a shout.
Thank you in advance,
Joris
Big PS: If any of you are actually interested in joining us you would be very welcome. You can look forward to an entertaining long weekend with lots of flying and camaraderie, and of course you would be doing everyone a favour by representing ROF. Alternatively, consider coming by for a visit for a day and meet some fellow ROF'ers.

Vander, I guess no reply means no objections ;D
I for one would fully support it if it gives people a good opportunity to try ROF.
Jorri, I think you will need to discuss with Vander what missions to put up and also consider an onsite teamspeak or vent server so flyers can talk to each other, after all that's where it gets really interesting and fun.
From what I have seen bandwidth should be a problem until we start hitting 50+ players and that seems to be a master server issue rather than a gameserver problem. Pings from Europe seem to be good in general.

Hey Jorri,
Still hesitating due to family obligations, but maybe I'll joint the party or come by for one day. Would be nice to meet you and bender then.
Good luck with it..see you maybe.
