There was a conversation today on TS about a book, Chickenhawk, that it turns out several of us including myself have read. It's an account of the author's experiences as a Huey pilot in Vietnam, 1965-66. As I recall it's a pretty well-written book (10-15 years since I read it). Jed mentioned that the author has a website on which he's posted a bunch of the photos that he took while deployed there. I went ahead and found it, and thought I'd post a link here in case any of you guys are interested in checking it out. Pretty interesting, especially to me the snapshots of everyday life on base and of American soldiers inteacting with Vietnamese civilians. And sobering to think of what they all went through so many years ago now. www.robertcmason.com/
