Hey guys I was wondering if any of you would be up for a SYN only training night or nights? to practice things like energy fighting v turn fighting and evasive techniques? I know I have a lot to learn with RoF and maybe if we bumped our collective brain cells together we might actually learn something?

Sounds good, but I still feel that there's no better training that just flying together. We are all very new to ROF (hours played), but the best way to learn, IMO, is getting to know your wingman, knowing your planes, and communication. We were doing great the other day in spads smudge! Seems most people are getting the shooting part down. We just need to learn to use each other better in ROF. I've learned quite a bit from the IRFC fellas in this regard. Their play of ROF is similar to how we do IL2. But that takes time. I, for one, know I'm still learning all the planes (learn something new everyday), and that's the biggest factor to it all. Either way, we'll get there

I like the idea Smudge. Things like formation flying and combat tactics (so everyone knows what you talk about) do take some practise. I do this with Faz every now and then. Last monday I set up a little mission with "target drones" just so we could practise our gunnery in the Se5a (which stinks atm! ).
