Hello Syndicate, The following is a "mini-DF" mission similar to my "Opposing Collumns". This time opposing artillery positions are bombarding camps across the river from each other. The goal of each team is to eliminate the other team's artilery. Vulching can be allowed. The problem for the server is that weapons loadouts must be locked, otherwise the British will have bombs available. Sorry, but I have not been able to properly test this mission. Current planeset is Camel/Se-5 vs D.VIIf/Dr.1...easily changed. www.filefactory.com/file/b3b92c7/n/Close_Camps_at_Chateau-Thierry.rar Thanks, "Smokin' Hole"

Sounds fun.. I'll try to get this up over the weekend. Perhaps we'll see if people will honor not flying with bombs without locking load-outs..

Just tried to load this through Dserver and it would not load. I'll see if I can't find out what the problem is..

Sorry about that. You've tried deleting the .msbin file I suppose. I would do that and then rename the file, as in "Close.....v.09".

Got it running directly after I posted. I added some serious AAA to entente target (for bombs sake).. Added a couple factory's to the Artillery staging area for both sides (to make it a bit easier to find) Played it last night with 20 people on - was fairly balanced and very fun One question - Is there an end timer just in case the server is empty so the map doesn't fall into darkness? I should have checked but forgot while I was in the editor..

Bliss, glad you got it working. There is a two hour timer (ID: 202 called "1h45").
I tested a previous version of this mission with irfc and they hated the AAA over the targets. That's why I dumbed them down. This might be a good mission for D.IIs/E.IIIs and N.17s/N.11s with either no or "Low" AAA. But in any case I really appreciate you for hosting it and since I didn't mention it before, you are always welcome to make any changes to the mission, the title, the subtitles, icons, briefings, etc. Once you host it, its yours.
