How in the hell did you manage that? I used my flightstick as a hammer (to hang pictures up) when I last moved. Are you sure buttons are actually shorted out? What does CH manager show when you press them? 2 buttons light up at once?

5 other buttons light up even in direct input mode, and the red, yellow, green lights are always illuminated (because button 3 activates 5 other buttons at the same time). It seems like there are loose wires that are touching or something.
It worked fine the other day, but after boot up it turned into a $100 paperweight. I emailed tech support, but who knows how long it will take them to get back to me.
In the meantime I am going to cannibalize all the dead joysticks in my basement to make a zombie stick that hopefully works. By my calculations, the depreciative money value of a hybrid stick (5-10$) should be low enough that the stick ought to last over 2 years.

Like some evil Belgian Scientist you are going to create a 50 metre tall zombie frankenstick that will kill all in NW America by Force Feeding on their headless corpses.....or something

go to the CH hanger and just make a post about it. You will be answered the same day. The girl (debbie) who does the RMA's etc., frequents their forums..
Did you spill a mixed drink on it or something? lol

I wish I had spilled something on it, accidently dropped it in the blender, or ran it over with my car, but it just died sitting on my desk doing nothing.
I posted on the CH forums and got a reply to email CH tech support. They are either really really busy or on vacation a bit early.
