This mission is fairly simple: Germans have to protect two-seaters while they direct artillery fire to an Allied advanced airfield. Artillery spotters didn't fly very high, in this mission from 2000-2600m.
Here is the mission description of today's mission:
Spotters over the Somme Date: March 15th, 1917 Time: 14:30
Mission objectives German: Protect artillery spotters. Allied: Deny enemy two-seaters access to our airspace. Please consult the map for specific objectives info.
Intel: While the British are preparing their next push near Arras, the Germans have begun preparations to withdraw to the Hindenburg Line. To protect the retreating troops, German artillery spotters have been ordered to target the advanced airfield south of Cappy.
Weather report: Light clouds at 2000m. Wind: 2-3 meters per second, from the south west.
