The Bombing of Lille v2b by Smokin' Hole Briefing WEATHER: Scattered clouds at 2000m, Winds from the North at 2m/s, light turbulence. Britsh Bombers are headed for Lille from the south at 3000m or 9600 feet (just above cloud tops). The 1st wave begins about 7 minutes after the server starts the mission and subsequent waves spawn every 1 minute thereafter. The job of the Allies is to cover the bombers and engage any EA. The objective for the Germans is to allow as few successful attacks on the city as possilble, a difficult task at best as it is generally easier to defend bombers than to attack them. The blue arrows are F12 Camera positions. Vulching is allowed. Both Aerodromes are covered by numerous ACE and INVULNERABLE AAA gun placements. One HP is available all the way over in Bruay, use it wisely. There is an "End Cheat" vehicle marked by a waypoint icon on the map. Either side may destroy it to end the mission. Good Luck!

new version: Yet another update to the Bombing of Lille. The previous versions worked but the action was a little slow. This time both sides have the same objective: To protect their portion of Lille from formations of enemy AI bombers. The allied bombers spawn first. Once they hit their factory the Gothas spawn and head south. At that point waves keep spawning every 5-10 minutes. About 30 minutes into the mission it is possible to have HPs and Gothas over Lille at the same time. Both formations approach at 3000m. So long as players stay high, protect their bombers and/or attack the enemy bombers, they should be safe from the very intense AAA. On the other side of the lines (not shown on map) are two fields from which players can take either a Gotha or an HP and attack the same factories. Destroying enough of the complex will accomplish the secondary objective for that side. The first team to take out 10 enemy AI bombers wins and ends the mission. Edit 4b: Forgot to connect the German factories to the 2nd Objective MCU.

Added another update (v4c). I'm trying to fix the spawn logic that gets fubar'd as the counters get tapped. Hope it works!

added the new version (4c) to the roster.
If you could add the Alb D.Va or the Fokker D.VII to the german roster, both sides have a basic aircraft. Now some players aren't able to play German side without buying planes,
