Greetings
I would like to ask you if you could solve my problem guys, please.
Today (Saturday 5th February) at 22:55 UTC I was on the Syndicate server. I and four other AB1 pilots were escorting three bombers.
We were flying in a formation of about 7 planes.
I was slightly behind, rejoining the formation.
Suddenly I got several hits from my six. My engine cought fire and I was heavily wounded. I died. When I was hit, I managed to look behind me. There was a Nieuport 28! It was a friendly kill, and it was not awarded to anyone.
Nobody said anything about who it was. It was a deliberate act.
Could you please find out who it was and ban him from the server?
Thank you
Vasek

Hi AB1Vasek, Unfortunately there's no way to tell who your attacker was from server logs as ROF doesn't record that stat . But there is something you can do the next time it happens. If you record a track during or immediately after the encounter, upon replaying it you can turn icons/player names on and find your attackers plane and his name. If I remember the record track button is either cntrl + R or Alt +R. Sadly that's the only way I know how to find out who it was. Hope this helps.

Deliberate could also mean somebody really thought you was nmy. so lets hope the shooter was ashamed and will look twice next time.

That's a shame. I can personally tell you that Izrail is one of the nicest online players I've ever met, and I've never heard one cross word out of his mouth. I bet you he did it without even knowing it. Go easy on him He truly is one of the good ones. Sorry it happened to you mate

VERY out of character for him. I have seen situations in the past where ppl were showing friends their wonderful online flying game only to have them shoot down a friendly pilot in formation. My wife even shot down Flashman one night in an SEOW (or was it Rep...cant remember).
Anyway its a shame it happened and it will be noted for future reference.
